The RainPro RM1600-2 is a fully automatic hydraulic rain to mains (rainwater / mains water) changeover valve / diversion device designed for pressure pump supply systems for harvesting rainwater for the toilet, laundry, and household applications with automatic mains backup. This rain to main changeover valve is suitable for most domestic applications.

This rain to mains valve type has minimal restriction on the mains pressure supply, making it suited for average sized homes and small commercial premises. 

IMPORTANT: This changeover valve must be used with pumps with an auto restart pressure controller

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the mains pressure is 400kPa above the normal operating pressure of the pump, the device will not completely isolate the mains. A pressure reduction valve will need to be fitted to reduce the mains pressure.
