Multistage Pump | Multistage pumps are pumps in which the fluid or water flows through two or more impellers which are fitted in a series within the pump. A multistage pump works by liquid entering the pump and passing through the impellers. The higher the number of impellers in a multistage pump the higher the pressure / metres of head is achieved and increasing the pumps performance. Multistage pumps are used to provide higher pressure to an application or to provide good pressure / head to pump a greater distance or up a hill for irrigation or water transfer. |
