Grey water pumps are predominantly submersible pumps which are used as a fitting within a grey water recycling system. 

A grey water pump is used in both domestic, commercial and industrial applications. In a domestic situation a grey water pump moves dirty water from your bath, washing machine, shower, kitchen sink and dishwasher. Often called a sump pump a grey water pump clears dirty water and waste water from a lower area to a higher elevation and can be placed in a sump area or in a pump station.
