Diaphragm Seals

A diaphragm seal is a flexible membrane that seals and isolates an enclosure. The flexible nature of this seal allows pressure effects to cross the barrier but not the material being contained.

Water Pumps Now stock a wide range of 12v, 24v and 240v diaphragm pumps manufactured by different companies including Jabsco, Shurflo, Flojet and Escaping Outdoors. Dependant on the application of the diaphragm pump as to what type of seals the pump has.

  • Nitrile seals are used for pumps that use both fresh and salt water
  • Viton seals are used for low acid farm chemicals and food acids
